Liza Upton
Fundraising Events Administrator
Liza has joined us from Sue Ryder Care where she worked as a full-time Events fundraiser, putting on events such as the Women of Achievement Awards and The Midnight Walk. Before taking on the official role, Liza volunteered at SRC and organised her own clothes swapping events which raised over £3000.
Previous to that, Liza’s background is in Advertising, working as a TV Producer for a London Advertising Agency, producing commercials for Clients such as Peugeot, Cadbury’s and the Independent Newspaper to name just a few.
After leaving her profession of 10 years, Liza moved to New York where she gained new experience in Sales working for a swimwear designer as well as taking a course in Interior Design at The Parsons School of Design.
Liza’s role at Autistica is to support Lynn and Philippa in an event fundraising role and to help develop an effective and successful fundraising team.
