With a career that has made him one of the UK’s foremost advertising men, Winston Fletcher has founded and led several of the country’s premier advertising agencies, with major UK and global companies among his clients. Winston has published 14 books and over 3000 articles on business topics in the national press and magazines, as well as lecturing/speaking at business schools and conferences throughout the world. He graduated in Philosophy at Cambridge University, and has been a Visiting Professor at both Lancaster Management School and Westminster University. He is the only person to have been both President of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising and Chairman of the Advertising Association. He was founder chairman of the World Advertising Research Center.
As well as being Chair of Autistica, Winston was made CBE in 2010, is a Trustee of the Rationalist Association, a Vice-President of The History of Advertising Trust, and was until recently Chair of The Royal Institution, and a Trustee and Regional Chair of Bernardo's.
