Alnwick Garden

Walk for Autism Research in the Alnwick Garden

Sunday 13 June 2010

Meet Taffy Thomas at the Alnwick Garden WalkCome and explore the magic of Alnwick Garden and raise money for Autistica!

Once again, we are returning to this beautiful landscaped garden, restored by the Duchess of Northumberland, for our fundraising family walk. The Alnwick Garden is a picture of colour in the summer, full of light, life and hope – the perfect setting for our charity walk. You’ll witness water at its most majestic at The Garden’s Grand Cascade, pass through the Serpent Garden with its incredible water sculptures, sneak a peek at The Treehouse and lose yourself in mysterious mazes of the Bamboo Labrynth. Longer routes include the Woodland Walk and Barneyside.

Taffy Thomas, Laureate Storyteller, will be entertaining us so bring your family and friends, spread the word and get as many sponsors as possible. Children and adults with autism are especially welcome. It’s going to be an unforgettable day. There are walks to suit everyone. The shorter walks are pushchair and wheelchair friendly.

Taking part is easy. You can register by post by downloading our pdf flyer, although it does help us to keep our administration costs low if you can register online. Simply fill in the form below to reserve your place.  Once we have received your details, we will send you a Fundraising Pack with more information and everything you need to raise your sponsorship money either online or through the use of sponsorship forms.
