Professor Jonathan Green
Professor Jonathan Green is Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Manchester and Honorary Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Central Manchester and Manchester Children’s Hospitals University NHS Trust and Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. In his professional roles he serves on the National Trials Adoptions Committee, UK Clinical Research Network (UKCRN); on the Scientific Board of the British Autism Study of Infant Siblings (BASIS); Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) leader, North West Medicines for Children Research Network; Deputy Lead North West Mental Health Research Network; Editorial Board Advances in Psychiatric Treatment. His research focuses on disorders of social development in children, particularly autism, and on clinical trials in child mental health and trial methodology. He is currently Chief Investigator of the collaborative MRC Preschool Autism Communication Trial and is leading the proof of concept i-BASIS prodromal infancy intervention for autism in collaboration with Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development Birkbeck College and the Institute of Education.
