We are developing the Autistica NDEI™ (Neurodiversity Employers Index) which will provide organisations with a tailored roadmap to becoming a neuroinclusive workplace.
The NDEI™ will launch in 2024, but organisations who take part this week will get to trial the tool six months early.
Around 1 in 7 of the UK population is neurodivergent. Yet many employers are missing out on this diverse talent pool because of the ways they recruit, retain and support staff.
The Autistica Neurodiversity Employers Index pulls together our research and other evidence-based solutions into a practical tool to help employers assess their working practices and provide them with recommendations for improvements.
By registering to take part in the Index during National Inclusion Week, companies will not only get a head-start on implementing change within their business, but they will also play a pivotal role in shaping this gold-standard tool.
We are inviting 200 companies to take part in this early access phase to ensure that the Index is ready for market in early 2024.
What taking part involves
If you think your organisation would be interested in taking part in the Neurodiversity Employers Index, you can register here.
You will need to complete the Index by 5 November and will receive your report and recommendations in December. There is no cost to take part, and all submissions and results will be anonymous unless your company chooses to be named as part of the bronze, silver or gold awards.
"With the NDEI companies can learn how to accommodate a diverse workforce. That’s hugely beneficial for neurodivergent employees but also for businesses, and I’ve seen these changes improve working practices for the whole workforce."
