Amanda is the Director of Research at Autistica. She joined the team in January 2022 to lead the research for our visionary and ambitious 2030 Goals. She has led projects such as the delivery of the Neurodiversity Employers Index (NDEI®).
Amanda has a PhD in psychology, focused on ageing and wellbeing in autistic adults. She is a champion of inclusive research and practice that embraces equality and diversity to understand the living experience of autistic people.
Before moving to academia in 2010, Amanda had a previous international career in industry.
