We are delighted to be one of the designated charities that streamers can raise funds for as part of the 10th Anniversary Jingle Jam event this December.

The Jingle Jam is the world’s biggest games charity event, taking place every year. Since its inception in 2011 the Jingle Jam has raised over $20 million (£15 million) all for charitable projects across the world.

As part of its anniversary year any creator can now set up their own fundraising streams, with their audiences able to receive the same Jingle Jam Games Collection as the one on offer from more than 50 well-known streamers who have signed up to take part. The collection of 55 full games has been brought together for supporters of the event and is available to anyone donating more than £35 in a single donation.

Maggie Allen, head of fundraising at Autistica, said, “We’re really excited to be part of this year’s Jingle Jam. Games can be a lifeline for many autistic people, but they’re often dismissed as harmful without any meaningful evidence base. That’s why this really is a perfect, powerful partnership for us.”

The funds raised by through the Jingle Jam will go towards the launch of Autistica’s Games Innovation Fund, a world-first initiative that will tackle the gap in understanding about the role games can play in autistic children’s lives and pave the way for new approaches to using games to address challenges they face.
